Tashlyk PSPP

In the period from March 2006 to September 2008, the Consortium "RPA "Ukrgidroenergobud"  performed the commissioning work to put into operation the first line of Tashlyk PSPP comprising two hydroelectric units having capacity of with 150 MW in the turbining mode and 233 MW in the pumping mode.

Work was performed on the equipment located at the service and industrial premises of HSPP, at WDM-330 kV of the South-Ukrainian HPP, WDM -330 kV of Tashlyk PSPP, water intake, transformer box, and "Reserve" sub-station.

INFORMATION

Tashlyk PSPP is the second largest plant of the South Ukrainian energy complex. The first hydraulic unit was put into operation on December 28, 2006, and the second on August 31, 2007. Tashlyk PSPP is designed to cover peak loads in the southwestern part of the unified energy system of Ukraine, as well as to ensure a reliable operation of the South Ukrainian NPP.
